Tue April 6, 2021: Face Covering Encouraged

In accordance with Indiana Governor Eric Holcomb’s Executive Order 21-09, effective April 6, 2021, and continuing through April 30, 2021, all individuals are encouraged to wear a face covering over the nose and mouth and where six (6) feet of social distancing cannot be achieved and maintained between individuals not in the same household, as wearing a face covering helps prevent an infected person from spreading the disease and similarly helps prevent a healthy person from becoming infected when in close contact with a person with COVID – 19.

Patrons, vendors, and any other non-employees will provide their own face coverings.

Indiana Tax Forms Change

It’s that time of year when we scurry around trying to find our receipts and getting our deductions in order so we can submit our state and federal taxes.

This year, for taxes payable in 2021, we’ve been notified by the Indiana Department of Revenue (DOR) that they will no longer provide income tax forms or booklets for libraries to distribute.**
